At this stage, when babies are learning to stand on their feet, we want to support them and make sure that they have acquired all the elements needed to stand correctly: balance, correct spinal movement, coordination between the upper and lower parts of the body, and so on. We’ll learn fun activities to play on the mattress to improve crawling, sitting and the transitions between them. We will look at the behavioural challenges of this age – fear of strangers and separation anxiety. And we will learn how to build confidence, reduce dependence on parents and increase independence through movement and fun play with other baby friends.
The workshop is held in English and consists of 5 sessions, once a week.
Thursdays, 15:00-16:00, 3.7, 10.7, 17.7, 24.7, 31.7
The First Step Method offers a holistic approach that recognises the connection between a baby’s motor, sensory and cognitive learning. Parents from all over the world learn how to optimally support their baby and cultivate a sense of confidence in their body and their abilities that will accompany them for the rest of their lives.
