Walking babies: Baby-parent workshop for 14-24 months olds
This workshop will focus on improving toddlers’ walking and balance skills, while introducing a variety of activities that support the development of gross motor skills and spatial awareness, to support toddlers in using their bodies with greater confidence and control.
The course will also include games that promote fine motor skills, as well as attention and concentration and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to encourage communication, setting boundaries, developing social skills through play with other toddlers, and allowing your children to adapt to new situations in a safe and pleasant environment.
The workshop is held in English and includes 5 weekly sessions
Tuesdays, 16:15-17:15
Dates: 2.6, 9.6, 16.6, 23.6, 30.6
First Step is a holistic approach rooted in the Feldenkrais method. It emphasizes the deep connection between sensory-motor learning and emotional development — how a baby’s ability to roll, reach, or sit is closely linked to their sense of confidence, curiosity, and openness to the world. The approach also highlights the vital role of the environment we create for our babies — through touch, tone of voice, responsiveness, and the experiences we offer. These early interactions shape how babies move, learn, see themselves, and relate to others. Our goal is to provide each baby with optimal conditions for development, and to help them build both a strong sense of confidence and a solid motor foundation, that will serve them throughout life.
