If you’re looking for a parent – baby course in English, a place to deepen your knowledge of your baby’s development, get to know activities to support their learning, meet other parents and have fun with your baby, then book a place on one of my workshops! Held at various locations in Hamburg, in small groups and a friendly atmosphere.
In this workshop, parents will expand their abilities on how to properly mediate their newborn’s transition from the womb to the outside world with as much ease as possible. We will learn various ways to soothe a baby, how to ease colic pain, and different holding positions along with their respective benefits.
In this workshop, we will focus on ways to create the best environment for a baby’s development. Parents will learn how to stimulate their baby’s balance system, how to help them maintain comfort during tummy time, and how to play with their baby and create quality waking hours, that also improve their sleep.
This workshop is meant to exercise the baby’s motoric abilities and prepare them for commando and classic crawling. We will discuss the connection between crawling and independence, how to play without toys, and how to encourage verbal communication.
At this stage, when babies are learning to stand on their feet, we want to support them and make sure that they have acquired all the elements needed to stand correctly: balance, correct movement of the spine, coordination between the upper and lower parts of the body, and so on. We’ll learn fun activities to play on the metress to improve crawling, sitting and the transitions between them. We will address the behavioural challenges of this age – fear of strangers and the difficulty of separation from parents. And we will learn how to build confidence, reduce dependence on a parent and increase independence through movement and fun play with other baby friends.
In the workshop we will learn how to improve a toddler’s walking ability and balance, we will get to know games and activities that challenge their motor skills and perception of space, in which they find creative solutions, use their body and enjoy it. In addition, the toddlers will experience new sensory stimulations that develop their cognitive world and enables deeper learning. we’ll also train fine motor skills, paying attention and concentration, and learn how to set boundaries and develop social skills through play.
My name is Ayala Zaidenberg, I am an Infant Development Instructor and a mother of two wonderful children. I have always enjoyed the presence of children and babies, but it only became my profession after the birth of my second child. During the first year of his life, I lived in a foreign country far away from my support circles. It was truly a difficult time for me. The First Step method gave me the tools I needed to manage the situation and helped me to become more confident in my abilities as a mother. As a result, I decided to make a career change. Today, I support parents in overcoming the challenges of having a new baby at home, and I hope to help you as well to rejoice in the great pleasures that this period brings.
My aim is not to train babies or speed up their development, but to support it. Each baby has his or her own pace. But often babies get stuck at a certain stage and fail to progress because they have not acquired a certain skill. It can also lead to incorrect patterns of movement that provide a shaky foundation for further motor development. With some guidance and after experimenting with the right activities and games, you can help your baby acquire the skills they need. My aim is to help each child progress at their own pace, enjoy their body and get the most out of it.
The First Step method was developed by Shai Silberbusch and originated in Feldenkrais. First Step is a holistic method that emphasizes the connection between the babies’ developmental environment and their learning abilities. It’s goal is to provide each baby with optimal conditions for development, to cultivate a sense of confidence in their bodies and capabilities, which will accompany them for the rest of their lives
